Ecologists exchange experience Ecological policy of the Works Zaporizhstal is an example for others.

In the period 8-11 April the International exhibition-fair “Ecology-2008” will take place in the Kiev expo center “Nauka”. Specialists from Zaporizhstal laboratory on environmental protection will take part in the exhibition-fair.

The exhibition will get the developers of environmentally safe products and equipment for its production together. They will demonstrate scientific studies, services, technologies and new achievements in this field.

Zaporizhstal exhibition stand will be dedicated to the achievements of the Works regarding the problems of environmental protection. The Chief specialist for environmental protection of the Works, Nikolay Silin, stated that this year harmful emissions regarding all indices have been reduced at the Works.

In particular, the implementation of the unit for aspiration of sintering plant tail parts and other environmental measures, have favoured this reduction.

Representatives of our Works will participate in the International Forum “Industrial Waste and Consumption”, in the framework of which they will become participants of the exhibition “Recycling” and will report at the International conference dedicated to the Works’ policy on waste recycling.
