1.Installation of a new sintering machine with sintering area 75 m2 instead of the existing one with sintering area 62,5 m2 and sinter screening in vibration screens.

Reconstruction of sintering machine No.1 with increase of sintering area to 75 m2 foresees the replacement of physically and morally outdated equipment of the technological complex and implementation of modern technologies of production of iron ore which will allow to:
- increase production of sinter by 158 000 t/year; - improve sinter quality as per content of fines 0-5mm (reduction by 4,2%);
- reduce the maximum lump size up to 120 mm; - produce sinter of an even granulometric composition, which will consist of solid and easy reduced fractions 8-35 mm;
- reduce consumption of energy sources (electric power, gas for ignition of the charge, solid fuel in the charge);
- improve labour conditions;
- provide residual concentration of exhaust gases into atmosphere up to 50 mgr/m3, which will allow to reduce dust emissions in comparison with the existing situation by 240 tons/year; sulfur dioxide by 206 tons/year.
Application of sinter of improved quality in the blast furnace shop will allow to increase production of pig iron by 27,0 thousand tons/year, reduce the consumption of raw limestone by 20,6 thousand tons/year and blast-furnace coke by 25 thousand tons. Payback period (from the date of equipment purchase) is 85 months.
Discounting payback period (ÂÐÂ) is 107 months.
ARR is 19,98%.
IRR is 17,98%.
NPV is 48,3 million UAH

2.Installation of a unit for PCI in blast furnaces.
841,6 Injection of pulverized fuel will make it possible to:
- save 336 million m3 /year of natural gas;
- save 331 thousand tons/year of blast-furnace coke;
- reduce prime cost of produced products. Payback period is 48 months. Discounting payback period (BPB) is 55 months. ARR is 36,6%.IRR is 33,8%.NPV is 564,4 million UAH. Idle time and discounting payback period are determined from the beginning of the planning period and include 19 months of construction.

3.Steel making facility upgrade with transfer to the converter method of steel production.
15 919,7Steel making facility upgrade will allow to:
- build a modern steelmaking complex on the territory of the Works and finish construction in a tight schedule, without interruption in the work of the functioning shops and without production losses;
- reject the low efficient open-hearth furnace production of steel, ingot pouring of steel and close down of the following shops: open-hearth furnace shop, train preparation shop, slabbing mill shop;
- provide production of steel with a narrow range of elements’ contents, improve the surface quality of rolled products, structure uniformity and metal properties;
- considerably widen the range of steel grades, including: tube steel grades, quality structural steel, high-strength steel, steel for vessels and boilers, which work under pressure, steel for stamping including steel for the automobile industry and also will ensure international standard requirements;
- produce high-quality expensive commercial hot-rolled products and also semi-finished products for high-quality cold-rolled sheets, including products of the fourth production stage (production of galvanized sheet and PVC coated sheets);
- reduce metal loss in cut-off pieces by 110 kg/tonne.Reduce the number of personnel by 303 persons. Reduce emissions of harmful substances into atmosphere.

4.Construction of a new continuous hot-rolling strip mill
7 706,5 Increase of production volume of up to 5,0 million t/year. Widening of range of products, production of rolled strips 1,0 – 25,4 x 900 – 1850 mm, increase of coil weight up to 35,0 tons. Production of high-quality hot-rolled products. .2017-2020
5.Construction of a new hydrochloric pickling line with hydrochloric acid regeneration..
699,0The on-stream sulfuric acid pickling technology does not allow to produce the required strip surface quality.
Construction of a new hydrochloric pickling line with an installation for regeneration of pickling solution will allow to:
- produce of up to 1350 thousand t/year of pickled rolled products 1,0-6,0 mm thick and 850-1550 mm wide (including up to 200 thousand t/year of commercial hot-rolled pickled coils – a new type of products which is not produced at the Works at present);
- considerably improve the quality of pickled rolled products and finishedcold-rolled sheets and increase their competitiveness;
- reduce the consumption of fresh acid from 20 kg/t up to 0,25 kg/t; water from 1,49 m 3 to 0,425 m3 ; steam from 0.067 Gcal/t up to 0.023 Gcal/t;
- utilize products of hydrochloric acid regeneration, i.e. iron oxide of high quality, which can be used in radio technical, electronic industry and in the sintering and blast furnace process;
- exclude emissions of harmful substances into atmosphere;
- reduce discharge of 1,5 million m3 /year of chemically polluted flow into the Dnieper River.
Integral efficiency indices are determined with the help of the automated programme “Project Expert”, version 7, which takes into consideration international standard requirements of book keeping:
Payback period (PB) is 53 months.
Discounting payback period (BPB) is 66 months.
ARR is 26,1%.
IRR is 25,8%.
NPV is 573,5 million UAHIdle time and discounting payback period starting from the planning period and including 21 months of construction.

6.Purchase and installation of a reversing 2-stand cold-rolling mill with a workshop for preparing rolls..
450,0Cold rolling of strips in coils 0,3...3,0 mm thick for production of 350 000 tons per year of high quality cold-rolled sheets and for rolling of 150 000 tons of tinplate 0,18...0,36 mm thick.
Provision of production of cold-rolled sheets for the automobile industry in correspondence with the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 732 dated 15.09.1993 - a state programme on development of the automobile industry in Ukraine.

7.Purchase and installation of an aggregate for hot-dip galvanizing followed by PVC coating for the automobile and construction industries with a capacity of 300 000 t/year.
505,0Installation of the aggregate will allow to widen the range of products produced at the Works and provide delivery of cold-rolled products with a galvanized protection coating for the needs of the automobile, machine-building, electric and technical industries and other branches of national economy in amounts of 300 000 tons per year. After completion of reconstruction of the metallurgical and rolling production.
8.Purchase and installation of a PVC coating line with a capacity of 150 000 t/year.
