Zaporizhstal JSC has presented the corporate book dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Works. According to the Head of the Public Relations Department, Andrey Shevchenko, the book has turned out presentable and capacious, and has become a sort of business card of the Works. «It is a story about the metallurgical giant of Ukraine and also about “everyone and everything”, connected with the Works, starting from the first days till the present». 448 pages cover the 70-years history of the Works, from the moment of its foundation up to the present day. The history of the Works is described through a prism of destinies of those, who built the Works, worked here, and are working here today. There are more than 2700 photographs of directors of the Works and its workers throughout the whole 70-year period. A large number of photos, illustrations, archival materials, memoirs and comments can also be found in the book. Due to this the book is perceived not as dry statistics of years and achievements, but as if it is an unfolded epic cloth on which the destiny of each worker is visible, each past year, each smelted ton of metal. The book “Symphony of Metal” has already received a high appraisal of colleagues. “It proves that our history deserves respect, and without false modesty, we bow to those, owing to whom we live today”, stated Alexander Afonin, the President of the Ukrainian Association of Publishers and Book Sellers, a member of the Board of the State Committee for Information Policy, TV and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.  | The book "Symphony of Metal"
