Integrated Management System
The Integrated system of quality management, ecology and labour safety (ISM) which satisfy re-quirements of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ILO-OSH 2001 functions at "Zaporizhstal" Steel Works since 2008. The international certificates of conformity confirm it. ISM is created based on quality control system that was functioning at the Works since May 1st, 2003 according to the international standard ISO 9001.
The integrated system of quality management, ecology and labour safety promotes constant satisfaction of clients and is formalized based on the internal documentation. The obligations that are indicated in the POLITICA, which is available to all interested persons, are affirmed at the enterprise.
“Zaporozhstal” Steel Works successfully passed the re-certification auditing of integrated management system (IMS), confirming its matching to the requirements of international standards of ecological management, ISO 14001, quality management IS0 9001, management of labor protection and industrial safety OHSAS 18001. Upon the results of auditing, the IMS of Steel Works is recommended by international auditors LLC “Veritas Bereau Certification Ukraine” to certification for the new three year period till 2017.
On August 25-26, 2015 JSC “Zaporozhstal” successfully passed the first compliance audit of integrated management system (IMS), which was conducted by experts of LLC “Veritas Certification Bureau of Ukraine”. Audit confirmed the high level of compliance of Steel Works’ IMS with requirements of international standards on ecological management systems ISO 14001, quality management ISO 9001, and also management of labor protection and process safety OHSAS 18008.
Following the leading world practice on regular reference to power parameters, power efficiency and influence on climate change, the Works has introduced and has certified system of power management based on the international standard ISO 50001. This standard provides more perfect approach - the sub-stantial saving is reached at the expense of usage of better administrative practice and without consider-able investments.
The first compliance audit of power management for acknowledgement of the certificate of conformity to requirements of international standard ISO 50001 has been successfully carried out In April 2014.
