Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has sent humanitarian aid to Lugansk Region

About 5,500 food packages have been sent today by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation to Lugansk Region. This is the first tranche of the humanitarian aid for the citizens of the region, where there is a catastrophic situation due to the war. In total, the Foundation plans to donate 20,000 food packages for Lugansk Region.

The food packages include essential foods, namely flour, pasta, sugar, stewed meat, pate and cookies.

Altogether, Rinat Akhmetov Foundation will donate 100,000 food packages for the citizens of Eastern Ukraine.

It is worth reminding that the Foundation’s food packages were distrbuted in Kyiv, Kyiv Region, Chernihiv, Donetsk Region, Kharkiv and Kharkiv Region. Furthermore, some of the packages were given to Mariupol citizens, who had been evacuated to Zaporizhia.

The aid is granted as a part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Saving Lives program. Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has helped 8 mln people survive over the 16 years of its operation, of which 3.5 mln people have been saved in Donbas area.
