The Charitable Organization Rinat Akhmetov Foundation Invites Children Aged 8-16 to Take Part in a Unique 7-Day Online Camp

Start of the pilot project shift – August 9, 2020.

In the online format, children will learn filmmaking skills, learn about key professions in filmmaking, acquire basic skills in creating their own content, shoot a short video about their life, and also meet new friends!!! The guys will take part in a digital competition for the best video story. The best video works will be awarded with prizes and shown on “Ukraine” TV-channel.

The project participants can be: children from low-income and socially unprotected families, children from foster families, family-type orphanages, children of supporters and adoptive parents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions; children living in the territory uncontrolled by Ukraine and in the “gray zone”, as well as migrant children.

The selection of project participants will be carried out according to several criteria: the desire to learn cinematography, learn how to write essays and the presence of a life story about the tragic events in Donbass.

During the shift, psychologists, counselors, curators of the “Kino Leto” project will work with the children. An interesting camp program, creative contests and quests, exciting squad activities and a professional team will make this summer unforgettable for your child.

The project “Rinat Akhmetov – For Children”. A peaceful summer is 7 days of happiness, 168 hours of calmness, 10 080 minutes of joy, 604 800 seconds of brightness.

All that the participant needs is a gadget (computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone) with the Zoom platform installed on it and his own Facebook page, as well as access to a good Internet for 7 days from 10:00 to 17:00.

During the online shift, the guys will learn how to shoot video stories, take interviews, study screenwriting and acting, master basic exercises in speech technique. They will acquire skills in such professions as operator, director, producer, video blogger. They will work with psychologists on their fears, self-doubt, learn to cope with stressful situations, take master classes on measures for safe life in the zone of military conflict, make new friends and become members of the friendly community of the Foundation’s beneficiaries.
