The public organization “Kultprozhektor” has become one of the winners of the social initiatives initiative “We are the city”. With grant money, a public organization opened Art HUB Zaporizhzhia.
«Art HUB Zaporizhzhia» – is an art space for residents of the city, which is located on the basis of the Information Tourist Center of Zaporozhye. For three months, there will be various lectures from experts on the topic of contemporary art and creative industries from different cities. All events that will take place in the hub can be visited free of charge, by prior registration.
The work of the art hub began with a lecture by Yekaterina Radchenko, curator of the international festival “Odesa Photo Days”. In her lecture “Photography – art or media?”, she told about the history and development of photography.
— In the 21st century, in the era of the total Internet, everyone can get information in a few seconds. But what is missing for many people to become really successful? Two things are needed – talent and a teacher. And separately, those components do not work. Possession of painting technique is not art, and the ability to juggle the ball will not make you Messi. It is important to have a decent mentor who will give you direction in life. “Art HUB Zaporizhzhia” is an opportunity for everyone who wants to meet exactly his teacher – talented, qualified, and tuned to make our city better. Therefore, no doubt, to support this project, the members of the expert council of “We are the city” did not exist. And we are sure that the art-hub will still pleasantly surprise us, – the coordinator of the competition “We are the city” Irisat Magomedalieva noted the significance of the new creative platform.
