Every year, according to a good tradition, the children of the Steel Works’ employees who have shown perseverance in their studies and achieved high results, having graduated from school with a gold medal, are congratulated at the Steel Works.
This year, the gold medalists were the son of Utilities Shop foreman Aleksandr Zaichenko – Mikhail, and the daughter of the crane driver Valeriy Drutsky – Anastasia. The guys showed their gold medals and talked with General Director – Aleksandr Mironenko. For their academic success, the management of the plant presented gifts to young people, and Alexander Grigorievich congratulated the guys and gave a parting word:
— This is a great success – the result of your daily work. I want to sincerely congratulate you. I am very glad that our employees have such children who set high goals, achieve them and receive high and well-deserved awards. You are well done! This is the beginning of such an exciting time for you to get a higher education. I want you to enjoy your studies, the new experiences and the great opportunities that open up before you. I hope that then, perhaps, you will want to come to work at “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works, – addressed Aleksandr Mironenko to graduates.
