From Borodynsky to the Southern microdistrict – for new knowledge: every weekend an audio guide with useful information about Zaporizhzhia works in three buses of route No. 18.
“City tour in municipal transport – 18 stories” is a project of the public organization “STEP”. This year, social activists submitted an application for the competition “We Are a City” and won. Grant money were spent for rent a recording studio, where professional broadcasters recorded a tour. Funds went for the purchase of flash drives. Since municipal buses have modern loudspeakers, for a tour you just need to insert a USB flash drive with the recorded material.
Victoria Maltseva, the author of the project: “To make the tour fascinating, we did not limit ourselves to facts from the Internet. To create it, we attracted famous Zaporizhzhia guides and historians. The workers of the Museum of the History of Zaporizhzhia Cossacks provided us with great help.”
While audio excursions are held in three buses on the route. But in the future they plan to launch them in all buses No. 18. You can listen to the tour only on weekends.
