The collective labour agreement of the Zaporizhstal Works was recognized by the results of 2016 as the best among the enterprises of the Zaporizhzhya region, numbering more than 10 thousand employees.
Awarding took place on June 20, 2017 in the framework of the meeting of the regional socio-economic council of the Zaporozhye regional state administration.
“At the basis of all social guarantees, which are enshrined in the collective agreement of the enterprise there is the effective work of the Zaporizhstal team, the daily effective work of each employee of the Works,” stressed General Director of Zaporizhstal PJSC Rostyslav Shurma.
In 2016, the Works fully fulfilled all guarantees for the improvement of employees’ health, support for veterans, the development of culture and sports, and the payment of all types of material assistance, targeted assistance to socially unprotected categories of the population that are connected with the enterprise.
So, in 2016 the Works allocated over 23 million hryvnias for the organization of the health season for employees, their children and veterans of the enterprise. The average salary for the Works for the year increased by more than 16% and exceeded 11 thousand hryvnias. It was also decided to increase the amount of material assistance for the birth of a child – from 1000 hryvnias to 1500 hryvnias.
The competition for the best collective agreement, which holds the Zaporozhye Regional Council of Trade Unions, is held annually among all enterprises of the Zaporizhzhya region – in industry, agriculture, in the budgetary sphere. Nominations of the competition are distributed among enterprises by the number of employees. The collective agreement of Zaporizhstal since 2012 is the annual winner of the contest among enterprises with more than 10 thousand employees.
In addition, the collective labour agreement of the Zaporizhstal Works was ranked three times in the all-Ukrainian rating – the Best Collective Contract among the enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine.
The head of the personnel selection, recruitment and development department Maxim Ped and the chairman of the trade union committee of “Zaporizhstal” PJSC Leonid Anisimov is with the award.
