Representatives of Zaporizhzhia special boarding school “Obereg” turned to Zaporizhstal Steel Works for help. For a long time, they wanted to install a new playground at the school site, but the school did not have enough funds.
Zaporizhstal Steel Works did not refuse the school’s request.
– The task of adults is to take care of the carefree childhood of our children, – said the head of social sphere “Zaporizhstal” Sergey Samarskiy. – That is why the Zaporizhstal Steel Works systematically provides comprehensive assistance to institutions that work with children in one way or another, such as: schools, boarding schools and various clubs. We could not pass by the request of the boarding school “Obereg”, with which we have a long-standing friendly relationship. We helped them install a modern playground. I hope that now walks in the fresh air of “Obereg” pupils will be more sporty and active. Let our children become healthier, and Zaporizhstal will continue to provide comprehensive support and cooperation with schools and boarding schools in our city.
For the arrangement of playground and purchase of the necessary elements, the Works allocated more than 90 thousand UAH. With these funds, preparatory work was carried out for the installation of the site, and a complex with slides, swings and special elements was purchased. The work was completed just in time: after returning from vacation, the children were waiting for a ready-made playground instead of an empty territory.
