Zaporizhstal Works again opens the doors for the guests. In the framework of the second plain-air “Zaporozhye landscape”, which opened in the regional art museum on June 23, the enterprise was visited by artists from all over Ukraine.
The guests visited the open-hearth shop, where they watched how the steel was being poured, and then – in the CPL-4 subdivision of the cold rolling shop No. 1, where they saw environmentally friendly modern production on the line of hydrochloric acid pickling.
– The employees of the art museum asked us to give them the opportunity to paint pictures on the territory of “Zaporizhstal”PJSC, – Roman Polischuk, specialist of the first category of the personnel interaction department of “Zaporozhstal” PJSC, said. – We provided this opportunity for artists and made an orientation excursion for them, so that they had an idea of the processes that take place at the Works.
After the excursion, the people of art settled on the green area by the fountain in front of the entrance to the CPL-4. Inspired and capturing many different pictures during the excursion, the artists took out easels, paints, pencils and began to create.
– The process of metal spilling has made a strong artistic impression on me, so I immediately realize what I see – it overwhelms me! – said artist Anatoly Kravchenko from Odessa. – I saw coloured fireworks at the Works! I think this is an incredible event – to visit such a large industrial enterprise. This is a new experience for me and I will continue to paint pictures that remained in my memory after this visit. My main feeling here is a pride for our country. I’ll come to Odessa and surprise the local public with industrial landscapes.
A part of the pictures painted at Zaporizhstal and at the other objects which the artists will have time to visit during ten days of the open-air, the townspeople will be able to see at the closing of the open-air and the opening of the exhibition on July 3 at the regional art museum at 12.00.
