On New Year’s Eve, representatives of Zaporizhstal works visited festive children’s matinees in the sponsored children’s homes: the regional specialized baby home “Solnyshko”, the center for the social and psychological rehabilitation of children, the boarding schools “Svitanok” and “Oberig”.
Little pupils of sponsored institutions received 660 sweet gifts and 590 kg of fruit.
For the guests, the children prepared small performances dedicated to the main winter holiday. One of the spectators of the performance at the boarding school “Svitanok” was Vladimir Kolomiets, Sales Director of Zaporizhstal PJSC:
– Our works has been friends with Svitanok for years now. We not only provide material assistance to the boarding school, but also really make friends with children. During the year, we see how children live here, grow, how teachers love and care for them. Today, educatees of the boarding school gave us a truly New Year mood. Children really know how to create a holiday for themselves and for us, adults. I wish the children that all the wishes that they make for the new year are surely fulfilled. So that they have health, comfort and a longer belief in miracles.
Zaporizhstal maintains sponsored institutions for children on an ongoing basis. This year, the works allocated material assistance for children’s homes and shelters in the amount of about 500 thousand UAH. The works also organized a festive program for children and gifts for St. Nicholas Day.
