Alina Novikova – the winner of “Miss Zaporizhstal – 2019” – went to conquer new top beauty contests and participated in “Miss Zavodchanka – 2019”.
The event was held in “Zavodskoy” Cultural Centre and gathered participants from five industrial enterprises of Zaporizhzhia: “Zaporizhstal” PJSC, “Zaporizhzhia Casting and Mechanical Plant” LLC, “Zaporozhogneupor” PJSC, “Zaporizhzhia Titanium and Magnesium Works” LLC and “Metinvest-Promservice” LLC.
Alina Novikova, participant from the Steel Works, told us about the preparation for the competition and the participation:
— We did not have much time to prepare – only three weeks, there were a lot of rehearsals, we left the Cultural Centre about 10 pm. Of course, after “Miss Zaporizhstal” contest, it was easier for me. I already knew some movements, defiles, knew how to hold a posture. However, the talent competition was not easy. Yes, once in my childhood I practiced dancing, but that was a long time ago. However, in spite of everything, I managed.
According to the results of the contest, the girl received the title “Miss Excellence”. Ekaterina Bezkorovaeva, an employee of “Zaporizhzhia Titanium and Magnesium Works” LLC, won the crown of the winner. Anna Muravyova, the winner of last year and the electrician of Cold Rolling Shop No. 1 of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works awarded Ekaterina.
Igor Chumachenko, the representative of the Steel Works, said how exactly the jury made their choice:
— It is very nice to be present at such a contest. I remember my childhood, which was held here, in Zavodskoy district. We started such competitions in the 90’s. And today’s event is really a holiday of harmony and beauty. It was difficult not only to the girls who were on the stage, but also to us – those who were sitting in the jury. It was not easy to choose a winner. Personally, I made choice by my heart and soul; it could not have been otherwise.
