In Zaporizhzhia, the winners of the regional competition for the best collective labor agreement were awarded. According to 2018, the best collective labor agreements belong to Zaporizhzhia enterprises of Metinvest – “Zaporizhstal”, “Zaporozhnegneupor” and “Zaporozhkoks”.
— At the end of 2018, our collective labor agreement was recognized as the best among the enterprises of the Zaporizhzhia region. This is a natural result of the coordinated work of the entire workforce. All 123 activities planned in the collective labor agreement were fully implemented. The average salary in 2018 amounted to UAH 17 thd, which is 33.4% higher than the value in 2017. More than UAH 21 Mio were allocated for medical insurance, more than 15 Mio were allocated for the health improvement of workers in boarding houses and recreation centers, and UAH 3.9 Mio for children’s health improvement. – said Vladimir Rybachenok, Head of Department for Interaction with the Staff of PJSC “Zaporizhstal”.
In 2018, there was a large-scale program for the improvement of working life for employees. UAH 34 Mio was directed to overhauls of welfare facilities: showers, dressing rooms and sanitary facilities.
A large contribution to the eventual life of Zaporizhstal employees was made by the youth organization of the Steel Works. With its support, in 2018, 104 cultural and social projects were held for employees of the enterprise. The organization conducts adaptation events block for young employees who were recently hired at the Steel Works.
