The contest of social initiatives “We are the city” provided a grant for the improvement of equipment to “Sviya” Zaporizhzhia theatre.
In the folk theatre, there are children who perform for the same young audience. Performances are free for everyone. The theatre was created a little over a year ago at the same name children’s theatre studio.
With grant money, the management of the theatre purchased new lighting equipment. Now the cast of the theatre is able to perform the project of the “black theatre” – a performance that is carried out with special lighting and technical equipment.
— As a member of the expert council of the contest “We are the city”, of course, while selection I supported this project aimed at the development of children, — said Sergey Ilchenko, the youth mayor of Zaporizhzhia, the leader of the youth organization of PJSC “Zaporizhstal”. — It is important for children to develop creatively, to have all the conditions for this. Many thanks to “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works for allocating funds to support talented young people, to improve the material and technical base.
