In the first month of 2008 fulfillment of the production assignment progressed in conditions of raw material delivery delay. Due to this not everything that had been planned was fulfilled to the fullest extent.
433 257 tons of sinter was produced, i.e. 36743 tons less than in the assignment. It was possible to fulfill the plan only by 92.2%.
The blast furnace operators’ work in January was more fruitful. They produced 288319 tons of pig iron, fulfilling the months plan by 101.1%. The open-hearth furnace operators also fulfilled their assignment. They produced 365830 tons of steel, i.e. 100.2% of planned.
The rolling operators were not able to fulfill the plan by 1.1%, producing only 296631 tons of finished products.
In the current month Zaporizhstal workers have to produce 458200 tons of sinter, 277500 tons of pig iron, 348010 tons of steel and 290042 tons of rolled products.
