The last month was particularly difficult for the rolling shops. Several breakdowns of the slabbing and hot strip mills, standstills connected with their elimination, lead to loss of production of more than 2000 tons of hot metal, which was partially compensated at the expense of delivering products to consumers from the strategic stoсks.
Due to this on the whole the June programme has been fulfilled at all stages of production. 488.8 thousand tons of sinter has been produced, i.e. 101.8%, pig iron — almost 303 thousand tons or 103%. Steel production has amounted to 369.9 thousand tons, which exceeded the month task by 843 tons. 305.9 thousand tons of finished rolled products have been delivered or 910 tons more than planned.
According to on-line data the Works sold its products to a sum more than 1.3 billion UAH (105%).
In the current month the task approved by the Chairman of the Board, foresees production of sinter amounting to 500.5 thousand tons, pig iron — 304.8 thousand tons, steel — 381.9 thousand tons and rolled products — 315.01 thousand
