Dear Colleagues!
Today, Ukraine brings together all possible resources to protect against the spread of coronavirus. The experience of countries where the epidemic has begun to decline, shows that the joint actions of physicians, the leadership of the country, business and the population are important. But even more depends on the personal responsibility and discipline of each of us. Our health and safety are in our hands.
Our strategy in the fight against the virus is to reduce the number of contacts where possible. By joint efforts we eliminate the risk of infection of employees, in order to do everything in our power so that the territory of Metinvest does not become a hotbed of the spread of coronavirus.
Starting March 17th, we introduce simple rules at all enterprises:
employees who can work remotely will remain at home until April 3. I ask everyone to do the work responsibly and remember those who continue to be responsible for production directly on-site;
we stop all mass events. We will communicate with colleagues, partners and customers by telephone, via video and the Internet;
we cancel all business trips – both overseas and in Ukraine;
employees at enterprises will receive gloves and masks for travel in public transport to work and back home;
we provide additional means for personal protection and disinfection of public places.
