«Zaporizhstal» SW, within the corporate social program «To the First Form – for the First Time!» made by Metinvest Group, has organized a traditional festive event and handed over 512 to the workers’ children which are going to the first form this academic year, the schoolbags together with the school kits. For these purposes, the Works allocated UAH 335 thousand.
In the threshold of the Knowledge Day, the Works organized a festival for the children in the Sports Complex of Metallurg SC with participation of the animation artists, the best on-stage performance groups from the metallurgists’ Culture Center. In the course of this event, the General Director of «Zaporizhstal» SW Rostyslav Shurma congratulated the first-grade pupils and their parents and presented the gifts.
In each schoolbag there is a school kit: a file for the note-books with the notebooks, a grade-book, a pencil-case, a ruler, a set of colored pencils, a pencil sharpener and eraser.
Let’s note, that 84 first-grade school children of the employees from «Zaporozhogneupor» PJSC and from «Zaporozhkoks» PJSC have also received the schoolbags with the school kits in the course of the organized festive events.
Besides, according to the provisions of the Collective Agreement, by the 1st of September, the employees’ children, which require any social support on the part of the Works, allocated amount of UAH 45 thousand. Besides, the Works allocated UAH 119 thousand to four sponsored education establishments for preparations for the beginning of the academic period.
