“Zaporizhstal” Integrated Iron and Steel Works, following the principles of the corporate social responsibility of the Metinvest Group, gradually improves social conditions for its employees. The budget for these purposes in 2014 – is 12 mln. UAH
The Program on the improvement of working life (hereafter – Program) is implementing at the Steel Plant “Zaporizhstal”, with the purpose of improvement of the production standards, labor productivity and creation the additional motivation for the enterprise employees.
“We have a specific target to increase the level of social conditions for the plant employees, in order people would feel comfort and work satisfaction, people would like their work place”, – under-lined the General Director of “Zaporizhstal” Integrated Iron and Steel Works Rostyslav Shurma.
In 2014 the program provides repairs, reconstructions and modernizations of the welfare rooms, canteens, recreation rooms, shift meetings rooms in the manufacturing shops of the plant, with the total area 7 thousand sq. m. A new furniture and modern equipment will be acquired for its arrange-ment.
