Within the corporate social responsibility of Metinvest Group “Zaporizhstal” Integrated Iron and Steel Works will channel 16.7 million UAH for organization of the health-improving season for employees, their children, and veterans of the Works in 2014. It is planned to improve health of over 9 thousand people during 2014.
Trip tickets at discount prices will allow employees of “Zaporizhstal” to recreate and undergo a health resort treatment in more than 20 facilities both within Zaporizhzhya region, as well as in the best sanatoriums of Ukraine. In 2014, recreation camps “Chajka” (urban-type settlement Kyrilivka) and “Mrija” (town Prymorsk) entered the list of institutions for health-improvement and recreation where employees of the Works can go for recreation. Over 7 thousand employees, 800 veterans and over 1 thousand children of the Work’s employees will have rest and improve their health in 2014.
Summer vacations for employees’ children will be organized in Children’s Health Centre “Sputnik” (Velykyj Luh, Zaporizhzhya) and in children’s camps of Metinvest Group in other regions of Ukraine. It should be noted that in 2014 the Works invested around 1.3 million UAH into repair of water-supply lines and buildings of Children’s Health Centre “Sputnik”
