According to the accepted world practice which establishes obligatory annual confirmation of the functioning of the issued international Certificates, representatives of the first foreign body of certification, accredited in Ukraine, the International “BUREAU VERITAS”: “Bureau Veritas Certification Ukraine” Ltd from 05.10.2010 to 08.10.2010 has carried out the second international supervising audit of implemented and certificated systems in the fields of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment within the framework of the Integrated Management System of Zaporizhstal JSC.
During audit the conformity with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ILO-OSH 2001 was checked. Apart from that, during audit certification of the user satisfaction management system according to ISO 10002:2004 was carried out and the transfer to the version of standard ISO 9001:2008 was confirmed.
When the second supervising audit was carried out no inconformity with the requirements of the international standards were revealed.
A group of leading auditors registered in the International Registration Scheme for Certificated Auditors IRCA (London), headed by the General Director of Bureau Veritas Ukraine, Doctor of Science I.G. Sokolov marked the highest level of management of the Works by the top management. Thanks to this the Integrated Management System effectively operates and has successfully passed acknowledgement in conformity with the highest requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ILO-OSH 2001 and ISO 10002:2004 and has defined it as one of the best in Ukraine.
The following directions for development were suggested:
Quality
- Estimation of processes: focus attention to productivity, carry out regular analysis of the data on productivity of processes for the establishment of new tasks;
- Continue work on implementation of electronic flow of documents;
- Continue audits of strategically important suppliers.
Labour safety
- Continue work according to the best world achievements realized in Labour Safety Management: DuPont Code of Conduct, International Information Security Leaflets, check-lists.
Ecology
- Improvement of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management (ISO 14064)
