PJSC «Zaporizhstal», within the social responsibility, financed creation of two specialized sports halls for going in for exercise therapy and rhythmics in Zaporozhye in the specialized educational boarding school «Obereh». For those purposes, the Works allocated over UAH 250 thousand.

For these funds, they repaired two, earlier not suitable for sports, halls, installed up-to-date ventilation systems, lighting and heating systems, as well as energy-saving doors and windows. Besides, they mounted a mirror wall and a wooden barre for dance classes in the hall of rhythmics, and in the hall of exercise therapy – wall-mounted ladders. Now, all the pupils of the «Obereh» boarding school will be able to go in for rhythmics and physical training.

«Zaporizhstal» Works renders a corporate assistance to the «Obereh» boarding school for more than ten years already. Besides, the Works’ employees arrange subbotniks annually at the territory of the children’s institution.

In the boarding school, they raise over 240 children with special needs, about 130 persons are engaged in caring for them. Children’s rehabilitation is going on under a special educational program with assistance of the qualified speech therapists, developmental paediatricians, psychologists.
