Conference of Ukrainian pipe industry plants has taken place at the beginning of June at the PJSC «Zaporizhstal», in which key clients of the Steel Works – PJSC “Kominmet”, INTERPIPE НМТZ, ТZ “Slavsant”, etc. have taken part. Participants of the conference have discussed questions of home market development and export potential of the Ukrainian metal products in conditions of economic and political instability.
The pipe enterprises of Ukraine are key clients of the PJSC «Zaporizhstal» – the share of sales to their addresses makes more than 40 % from all product deliveries of the Steel Works in home market.
«During the spring, growth of consumption of metal rolled product in home market has made around 15-20 %. In particular, orders from our partners in Ukraine, which export product, which is produced from the metal rolled product of the PJSC «Zaporizhstal» and other enterprises of Metinvest Group have increased. We hope that this tendency will remain till the end of the year that will allow us to look ahead confidently», – has noted Dmitry Lippa, the General Director of «Metinvest СMTS ltd».

For the purpose of enlarging of sales volumes in internal and foreign markets, the PJSC «Zaporizhstal» devel-ops client service, gives technical support to clients, develops and introduces new requirements to steel and to the rolled product that allows partners the Steel Works to enlarge the commodity markets. A priority commodity market for the Steel Works is the market of Ukraine – for the last year, the share of deliveries to the home market has grown on 4 %.
