In 2021, Zaporizhstal Steel Works of Metinvest Group continued to improve the living conditions for em-ployees as part of the Working Life program. The Works allocated more than UAH 44 million for the over-haul of amenity premises in four divisions.
Zaporizhstal Steel Works carried out capital repairs of amenity premises in the blooming and sinter shops, as well as in the road and railway transport departments.
Communication systems were replaced in the premises, flooring, walls and ceilings were renewed, new plumbing and furniture were installed. The interior is decorated in a modern corporate style.
The total area of premises renovated during the year amounted to more than 3,500 m². The Works allocated more than UAH 44 million for the repair of working life facilities. Modern and comfortable premises are designed for 1500 employees of the enterprise.
Let us remind that the corporate program “Working Life” has been implemented at Zaporizhstal since 2012. Dur-ing this time, the Works allocated about UAH 200 million to bring sanitary and administrative buildings in line with the best practices of culture and life in production.
In addition, within the framework of the Air Conditioning program in 2019-2021, Zaporizhstal allocated more than UAH 6 million for the purchase of 506 modern climate systems.
