Zaporizhstal provided financial assistance to the Zaporizhzhia regional center “Invasport” for a health-improving training course for a group of swimmers – pupils of the Center on the basis of a health complex in Turkey.
A group of swimmers – pupils of “Invasport”, accompanied by qualified trainers, had a course of training and health procedures on the eve of the Ukrainian championship on swimming in open water and in the pool. The trainings took place in a 50-meter Olympic pool and in a specially equipped area for open water swimming.
The traditional sports and health weekend this year was distinguished by increased attention to the implementation of quarantine standards and anti-epidemiological measures taken to ensure the safety of young athletes.
Let us remind, that since 2015, Zaporizhstal has been supporting the Zaporizhzhia regional center Invasport, where Paralympic athletes train, in improving the material and technical base, as well as organizing the training process and health races. During this period, the Works has provided support to Invasport in the amount of about 1 million UAH.
