On 18 October 2018 Zaporozhye has been visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Hagström during his working trip.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Hagström took interest to complex program of Zaporizhstal ecological modernization. He visited the works’ modern control room, got acquainted with visualization and monitoring system for technological processes “Company on the palm”, in which industrial emissions online monitoring system has been integrated.
Within the framework of visit to the works Mister Ambassador attended one of ecological modernization facilities of Zaporizhstal Works, recognized the best industrial facility of 2014 by GASK (State Architectural and Construction Supervision Authority) version, – new pickling unit in Cold Rolling Mill Shop No 1. Martin Hagström emphasized positive dynamics in production processes ecologization in the company and accent on green solutions application. Since 2012 for these purposes the works forwarded more than 8,8 billion grivnas.
«Issues of enterprises ecological reconstruction are very urgent in Sweden. Based on the results of visiting Zaporizhstal I see that works moves the same development path as our companies. The works realized big investment projects including those cooperated with Swedish companies. Considerable amount of promising projects was outlined. “It’s a right European development path”, – Martin Hagström remarked.
In the course of the visit the diplomat also held a meeting Zaporozhye city mayor Vladimir Buriak, discussed partnership in “Safe City” project implementation. In addition, Mister Ambassador has been familiarized with construction project of linear accelerator in Zaporozhye.
