According to the itemized list confirmed by the Board of the Works, this year in the blast furnace shop it is necessary to accomplish large restorative repair of blast furnace № 2 which is planned to be shut down at the end of March. Repair of blast furnace No.4, where at present disassembling jobs are coming to an end, orders for the manufacture of new equipment and metal structures are being carried out. At the same time gas cleaning units of the blast furnaces will also be repaired.
Capital repair of the slabbing mill and hot-strip mill is planned for autumn, where up to 70 % of the work will be fulfilled in the period prior to the shutdown of the mills.
It is also foreseen to repair the rolling mill in cold-rolling shop No.1, baling press В-1642 in the scrap preparation shop and also some other major and auxiliary equipment.
