On 17-19 October 2018 at “Zaporizhstal” 45th international scientific and technical conference took place, in which 300 young specialists of mining and smelting enterprises, scientific research institutes, Ukrainian higher institutions, foreign metallurgical enterprises participated.
Young metallurgists and scientists presented their reports and innovative ideas in 11 sections: sinter and blast furnace, steel smelting, rolling, social and youth policy, environment security etc. Each work contained new solutions, directed to resource-saving technologies, improvement in the area of industrial and ecological safety of production, operational efficiency increase. Best ideas authors are rewarded, total premium fund comprised 130 thousand grivnas.
Youth is a source of innovative solutions. It’s especially important for metallurgical industry, in which high-technology solutions implementation is vitally necessary.
