On 22 October 2018 in the framework of working visit “Zaporizhstal” has been attended by the President of Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Gennadiy Chizhikov. During the meeting with “Zaporizhstal” Director General Rostislav Shurma they discussed urgent issues and realities, in which Ukraine’s industrial sector companies work.
Gennadiy Chizhikov noted Zaporizhstal’s great importance for Ukrainian mining and smelting complex and national economy in whole. President of Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine especially stressed scales of ecological modernization of the company, its industrial potential and contribution to all levels budgets.
The guest familiarized with company’s ecological modernization facilities having visited industrial facilities unique for Ukraine: contemporary blast furnace No 3 and continuous pickling line of Cold rolling mill shop No 1.
Zaporizhstal without any exaggeration, is metallurgical giant entering the three of mining and smelting industry leaders. Region’s GDP one third is provided by stable work of this enterprise. It’s a great pride and herewith – responsibility of Zaporizhstal, – Gennadii Chizhikov remarked.
Since 2012 for ecological modernization of “Zaporizhstal” about 9 billion grivnas of green investments have been forwarded.
