On the St. Nicholas Day, Zaporizhstal traditionally organized a warm holiday for 340 pupils of the regional specialized “Solnyshko” children’s home, a center for the social and psychological rehabilitation of children, and boarding schools “Svitanok” and “Oberig”. As a gift from metallurgists, children from sponsored orphanages received 660 sweet sets and 560 kg of tangerines.
A fabulous performance for children, an interactive show with games, dances, master classes, magic tricks and an animation program took place in the recreation center of metallurgists. Traditionally, the metallurgists visited every sponsored children’s institution, and gave the kids sweet gifts and fruits.
For the New Year and Christmas holidays, Zaporizhstal also organized a festive show program for the
pupils of sponsored institutions. All children will receive gifts and treats from the Works.
In the framework of the program of corporate social responsibility, “Zaporizhstal” systematically supports the orphanage “Solnyshko”, the center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children, and the boarding schools “Svitanok” and “Oberih”. In 2018, the Works allocated about UAH 500 thousand to the needs of the institutions.
